Performer:
The Longhawn Trio – Yamaha’s: EL900, PSR800, PSR900 Pro, Roland RD150 Stage Piano, Tenor and Alto Saxophones

We certainly had a treat of a Show from The Longhawn Trio comprising David (22), Richard (19) and Martin (18) – three young, popular and very talented musicians.

Getting us in the mood – Glen Millers band sound “In The Mood” and then into “Music To Watch Girls By”.

Jazz style for “Stone Moments”, followed by “I Left My Heart In San Francisco” … Back to the 60’s with “I Only Want To Be With You” with Richard playing Alto Sax.

Frank Sinatra’s “The Lady Is A Tramp” and then on to Sir Elton John’s “Daniel”.

Saxophone romantic ballad “Careless Whisper” dedicated to all the ladies!

Nat King Cole’s “Let’s Face The Music And Dance”.

Frank Sinatra’s “My Way”.

When The Saints Go Marching In”, “Alexander’s Rag Time Band”, “I’ve Got Rhythm” and “Sweet Georgia Brown”.

Rock ‘n Roll – “Jail House Rock”, “You Ain’t Nothing But A Hound Dog”, “Blue Suede Shoes” and “Burning Love”.

From “War Of The Worlds” – “Eve Of The War”, “Forever Autumn” and “She’s Not There”.

How Sweet It is To Be Loved By You”, followed by “Swinging Shepherd Blues” and “Games That Lover’s Play”. Dave Brubeck’s “Take Five”.

Country & Western (with audience participation) – “Rhinestone Cowboy”, “Ghost Riders In The Sky”, “Ring Of Fire”, “Deep In The Heart of Texas” and “She’ll Be Coming Round the Mountain”.

It’s Not Unusual”, followed by Latin styles for “Masquenada” and “Tangerine”.

Back to the 50’s and 60’s Rock ‘n Roll with “This Old House”, “Goodie, Goodie” and “Go Johnny, Go”.

Encore: “The Bare Necessities”, “Hi Ho It’s Off To Work We Go” and “I’m The King Of The Swingers”.

A brilliant show! Be assured - our Club will be inviting The Longhawn Trio back again in the not too distant future! Thanks, lads, for the fantastic entertainment
