Performer : Ryan Edwards
Instruments : Yamaha EL900

Popular Organist Ryan Edwards visited our Club on 12th January to start our New Year off playing on Yamaha EL900.

Ryan is a First-rate player and a perfectionist in arranging of songs both in Classical and Popular style music and he provided a really good concert with a good mix for everyone to enjoy.

Amongst the music played we had a great version of’ ‘Alpine Echoes’ featuring Brass Band sounds,- Music from the Musical ‘CATS’ and Glen Millers ‘ I Know Why' and ‘At Last’.

We had some David Foster music and Richard Carpenters ‘Good bye to Love’ with the famous Electric Guitar Solo! - Then music from Jungle Book ‘I Wann’a Be like You.’

Music from Mike Oldfield ‘Tubular Bells’ and then ‘Bring Him Home’ from the Musical ‘Les Miserables were outstanding and then a great version in Tommy Dorsey Style of Charlie Barnet’s ‘Skyliner ‘.

Then ‘Die Fledermaus’ by Strauss, some great orchestral sounds here..

Ryan was in good and relaxed form throughout this concert and came across well to the audience, many people said how much they enjoyed this concert - it was disappointing however that on this occasion there was only a small attendance.

Next month we have Jon Smith paying I think his first visit to our club so hope to see as many of you that is possible then..
