A most enjoyable and entertaining evening of music for everyone on David’s first appearance for our Club:

Bid Band swing medley – “Let’s Fly Away” and “It’s So Nice To Go Travelling”.

Ballad – “One Moment In Time”.

A medley of songs from the 1968 Film - “Finnian’s Rainbow”.

Rumba – “Stranger In Paradise” and “The Wings Beneath my Wings”.

Latin Samba – “Hamarada”.

Classical Mozart – 4 pieces of music including “Minuet in G Major”.

Big Band style and sounds for – “New York, New York”.

“Silver Wedding Waltz” followed by the Carpenter’s “Yesterday Once More”.

March medley: “Stars and Stripes”, “Song of the Brave” and “Blaze Away”.

Quickstep dance tempo for - “Let’s Face the Music and Dance”.

Classical Bach – “Jesu, Lord of Man’s Desiring”, and “Prelude in C Major”.

March – “The Regimental Daughters”.

Theatre Organ sounds from Harry Warren’s “42nd Street” – “Lullaby of Broadway” and “We’re In the Money”.

Popular Irish “Riverdance” music – “Dance Above the Rainbow”.

Franz Lehar’s “Gold and Silver Waltz”.

Jazz swing styles for Stefane Grappelli’s - “Shines”, “It’s Marvelous” and “Avalon”.

From David’s own “Victorian Night” Repertoire – the “Stephanie Gavotte”.

John Walker’s composition - “Go West”.

From the 70’s – Neil Sedaka’s “The Hungry Years”.

Encore: Broadway Melodies – “After You’ve Gone” and “Bye, Bye Blues”.
