Performer : David Lingwood
Instruments : Technics GX7, Technics KN7000 & Roland FP3 Piano .

Opening his show this evening, David played a medley: “Give My Regards To Broadway”, “Lullaby Of Broadway” and “Broadway Baby”

 followed by “Radetzky March”, “The Blue Danube” and “The Thunder and Lightening Polka”.

 Swing medley “So What’ s New”, “The Lady Is A Tramp” and “Hello, Dolly”.

 In the style of the late, great Winifred Atwell - Piano solo - “Jubilee Rag”.

 Beatles Medley: “Yesterday”, “Something In The Way He Moves” and “When I’ m 64”- utilising many different “voices” from all three instruments.

 Classical composition entitled “Char Dust”.

 With vocal rendition of “A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square”.

 West End Theatre & Film Musical “Oliver” - “As Long As He Needs Me”, “Oom Pah Pah”, “Where Is Love?”, “Who Will Buy?”, and “Food, Glorious Food”.

 Starting the second half of his show, David continued with West End Theatre and Film Music with “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” and “Truly Scrumptious”.

 A delightful orchestral arrangement of “The Lonely Shepherd”.

 George Gershwin styles for “I’ ve Got Rhythm”, “Fascinating Rhythm” and “Love Is Here To Stay”.

 Theatre and stage sounds from “Les Miserable” - “On My Own”, “Can You Hear The People Sing”, “Master Of The House” and “End Of The Day”.

 On to Andrew Lloyd-Webber ’ s “Sunset Boulevard” - with hisvocal rendition of “As If We Never Said Goodbye”.

 Latin American Bossa Nova rhythms - “Meditation”, “So Nice” and “The Girl From Ipanema” and an amazingly fast Samba - “Amor”.

 For David s encore, he invited everyone to join in with “Ill See You In My Dreams” - by popular request - and “We ll Meet Again”.

David is appearing for the first time with Sceptre Promotion ’ s Spring Cavalcade Festival at Pakefield. We wish him every success.
